French Toast Casserole

Fluffy, golden, and perfectly spiced, this french toast casserole is what holiday mornings are made for. Made with The Alt, our 1:1 dairy swap that tastes n’ acts just like the real thing. The best part? Breakfast basically cooks itself while you stay cozy in your PJs!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Earth’s Own The Alt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


TOPPINGS

  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Powdered sugar
  • Maple syrup

Directions

  1. Cut your brioche bread into chunks and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth, then add Earth’s Own The Alt, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Whisk mixture is fully combined.
  3. Add the brioche bread to your custard mixture and gently fold to coat every piece.
  4. Transfer the soaked brioche into your casserole dish and spread it out evenly. Drizzle the butter over top and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes, until golden and set.
  5. Once baked, top with fresh berries, sprinkle with powdered sugar, serve it up, and enjoy with a generous drizzle of maple syrup!
