If you dream of barista quality coffee concoctions at home, you’ve likely stumbled across @CosetteCutie and her homemade coffee creations on your FYP. She’s a talented as-heck coffee enthusiast who champions the belief that anyone can create barista worthy drinks at home and has a whole latte love for the Earth’s Own Coffee line-up (we’re blushing).
We put our interview skills to the test and sat down with the queen of coffee herself to learn more about her journey into barista content creation and how plant-based milks help her achieve coffee shop approved bevs at home (including an exclusive recipe for an oh-so-dreamy fall latte).
So Cosette, how did you get started as an at-home barista?
“It all began during the pandemic when I found myself stuck at home but still craving my caffeine fix. To satisfy my coffee cravings, I started with simple iced lattes using my Nespresso machine. I kind of felt like I was training to be a real barista; I was experimenting with different drinks, like shaken espressos, macchiatos, and even some blended drinks. It didn’t take long for me to become the designated “barista” for my family. At the time, I only had vanilla syrup and caramel sauce, but as time went on, I even began experimenting with different syrups, and my collection grew rapidly. It wasn’t long before I realized that I had everything I needed right at home, making trips to coffee shops unnecessary.
Once I felt a bit more confident, I treated myself to a “real” espresso machine, which made me feel like a true coffee aficionado. But I still love visiting local coffee shops to pick up high-quality, fresh beans that I can use at home”.
Tell us more about your TikTok channel!
“I started my TikTok journey in 2019, initially posting a variety of random videos as I was still finding my niche. Eventually, I decided to document my personal at-home barista journey, mainly for myself. It wasn’t long before I discovered that many others were on a similar journey, so I began sharing the tips and tricks I had picked up along the way.
Now, my TikTok is all about helping others elevate their coffee game. I love sharing:

What made you fall in love with plant-based milks?
“I’ve always had a bit of a sensitivity to dairy, so I was naturally drawn to explore plant-based alternatives. I didn’t know much about them at first, but Earth’s Own seemed to stand out every time I walked through the grocery store. When I finally decided to try their Oat Original, it was a game-changer. It was the first oat milk I ever tried, and I’ve been an oat milk girl ever since.
What really won me over was the incredible variety of plant-based milks available. They’re so versatile, too. I use them for everything from cooking and baking to making my morning coffee. On top of that, knowing that these options are better for the environment makes every sip feel even more rewarding. It’s not just about finding a dairy-free alternative; it’s about choosing a product that aligns with my values, too!”

Let’s Give Em’ Pumpkin to Talk About: Exclusive Brown Butter Pumpkin Pie Iced Latte
Homemade pumpkin pie sauce ingredients:
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Earth’s Own Soy Barista
- 1/3 cup pumpkin pie filling
- Splash of vanilla
Homemade pumpkin pie sauce directions:
In a saucepan on medium heat, combine all ingredients. Stir, and once the sugar has dissolved, simmer for 5 minutes. Once cooled, add your sauce to a container to store in the fridge.
Pumpkin spice latte ingredients:
- 1 tbsp homemade pumpkin pie sauce
- 3/4 cup Earth’s Own Soy Barista
- 2 shots espresso
- Ice
Pumpkin spice latte directions:
Stir the pumpkin sauce and the Soy Barista. Once combined, add your ice, and the espresso on top.
Brown butter cold foam ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Earth’s Own Soy Barista
- 1 tbsp brown butter syrup
Combine ingredients and froth with a milk frother. Pour the cold foam on top of your latte, top with cinnamon, and enjoy!
