Ingredients

  • 8 croissants, chopped into chunks
  • 1 1/2 cups Earth’s Own The Alt
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices smoked provolone (plant-based option: dairy-free smoked provolone)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (plant-based option: dairy-free cheddar cheese)
  • 1 cup mozzarella, shredded (plant-based option: dairy-free mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
HERB BUTTER BASTE

Directions

  1. Chop the croissants into chunks and place them into your casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth, then add Earth’s Own The Alt, dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, whisking again until fully combined.
  3. Pour the mixture evenly over the croissants, allowing it to soak in naturally.
  4. Tuck the smoked provolone and cheddar slices between the croissant pieces, then scatter the mozzarella over the top.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes and prepare your herbed butter while it cooks. Once the 30 minutes are up, remove the dish from the oven, baste the casserole with the herbed butter, and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes until golden and set.
