Banana Bread Latte

For when the bananas on the counter are ready but you’re only here for the caffeine. This Banana Bread Latte is proof you can have your loaf and drink it too.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup banana bread syrup
  • 200ml Earth’s Own Almond Barista
  • Double shot espresso
  • Ice cubes

BANANA BREAD SYRUP

  • 4 extra ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Mash the bananas until smooth, then add them to a pot with the brown sugar, vanilla, and water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and blend with blender of choice until completely smooth. Let cool.
  3. Fill a glass with ice. Pour the banana bread syrup, then add in Earth’s Own Almond Barista.
  4. Brew a double shot of espresso and pour it over the drink. Give it a stir to combine before drinking and enjoy.
