Instead, we use real whole butter beans and oats to make a super-swappable alternative. Oh, and they’re grown using half the water of the dairy equivalent. Why? The short answer is yes, our food products are gluten-free (< 10ppm) but they’re not gluten-free certified… yet.
Our supplier provides us with statements that verify the ingredients they use are 100% gluten-free. But we don’t stop there. We also have a strict allergen control program in place to manage risk of cross contamination at our plants and regularly tests our products for gluten. And guess what? Our tests have always met the CFIA gluten-free standards, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your new fav’s.
Nope! We share the concern over the use of palm oil on the environment and we are stoked to confirm there’s absolutely zero palm oil in any of our products. We use instead coconut oil and sunflower oil.
Well yes, sort of. If you’re an avid reader of ingredient labels, you’ll notice that most plant-based dairy alternatives are made with oils and oil blends. Us on the other hand, use butter beans and oats in our food products to create an absolutely delish plant-based alternative that you can use just like dairy.
