  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the brown sugar and stir constantly for 2–3 minutes until it’s thick and bubbly.
  3. Slowly pour in Earth’s Own The Alt while whisking (it might sizzle a bit). Stir until smooth.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened. It will thicken more as it cools.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.
  6. Let cool slightly before using, or store in the fridge for up to a week. Reheat gently to serve.
