Oh-so-creamy n’ cheesy, this vegan mac n’cheese is oat-liciously good. Especially since it’s made with our Oat Original and Dairy-Free Butter, what’s not to love!

Ingredients:
- 500g elbow macaroni or tortiglioni
- 3 cups Earth’s Own Oat Original
- 1/3 cup Earth’s Own Dairy-Free Butter
- 3 cups plant-based shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric (for colour)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, melt the Earth’s Own Dairy-Free Butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, whisk in flour to form a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is golden brown and fragrant.
- Gradually pour in the Earth’s Own Oat Original, whisking constantly to prevent any lumps.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the plant-based shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until fully coated.
- Serve your mac n’ cheese topped with some fresh chives, grab a fork and enjoy!
