Almond Sugar Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting

Seriously dough – these soft n’ chewy almond sugar cookies with a decadently rich dairy-free cream cheese frosting are sure to be a crowd fav this holiday season!

Serves: 5 (2 cookies each)

Prep time: 20 minutes

Total time: 45 minutes

  • Plant-Based

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Frosting

Toppings

  • Plant-based sprinkles

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Melt your butter and place it into a bowl along with the cane sugar and mix until smooth n’ creamy.
  3. Now add your vanilla extract, almond extract, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch, Almond m*lk and salt, mix until well-combined.
  4. Next comes the flour, make sure to spoon the flour into your measuring cup! Scooping or pressing the flour will end up with the wrong measurement and create too thick of a batter (we’re going for soft n’ chewy cookies here).
  5. Use an ice cream scoop and scoop your cookies onto the pan.
  6. Place in the oven for about 15 mins. *Ovens can vary in cooking time
  7. You can make the cream cheese frosting while waiting for the cookies to bake! Place your cream cheese and icing sugar into a bowl and mix until silky smooth.
  8. Spread a decent amount of icing on your cookies and sprinkle away!
